PMI hosted the National Level of BOE Oral Examination on 23rd April 2022. A total of 126 candidates from different industries (including NTPC) appeared in oral examination. 'Central Boiler Directorate' has recently conducted national level written examination for 'Boier Operation Engineer' which is a statuary requirement for operating any type of industrial boiler. The oral examination was conducted by M/s National Productivity Council, Chennai under Ministry of DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Shri T S G Narayanen, Technical Advisor (Boilers) & Chairman, BOE Examination Standing Committee, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry visited PMI on the occasion. He was also accompanied by Shri Zakaria Khan Yusufzai, SDO & Secretary, MOCI. Senior members met with all panel judges and NPC members. Shri Narayanen also stayed during complete examination duration and interacted with participants.

In the morning, Shri R.K Sinha, Head - PMI welcomed the dignitaries and apprised the members with all necessary arrangements made by NTPC for smooth conduct of examination.

MOCI senior members and NPC members appreciated NTPC efforts for getting its candidates ready for BOE certification and praised the arrangements made by NTPC.
